For years I have enjoyed playing sports; basketball, football, cricket... You name it. But perhaps even more than playing sports, is my love for analysing them; looking at games, recognising a player's growth, and even drafting my own fantasy leagues based on my analyses. 

Now pursuing a BSc in Economics at the University of the West Indies, I have found a way to look at sports from an academic and statistical perspective, while maintaining my passion for it.

For some time, I have put pen to paper to express my feelings on major sporting events. The journey to publish has been arduous and at times nerve-wracking, as is expected when anyone decides to make their views public. But I have finally decided that 2021 is my year to take my writing into the world.

Forte's Takes is a humble contribution and first step into the world of sports commentary. Join me, as I express my unfiltered thoughts and opinions on sporting events, players and more, which will be backed by statistics and personal theories.

My hope is that this blog will foster open communication for engaging in meaningful sports conversations with sport fanatics such as myself.... Overall, creating spirited and honest content that readers will genuinely enjoy is my mission.
